Welcome to SUSANIN'S Chicago!

Twenty years! What an exciting milestone for SUSANIN'S as we celebrate two successful and memorable decades. Many clients and friends will recall the beginnings of SUSANIN'S in Chicago's famous Merchandise Mart; a place where founders Sean Susanin and Christian Skeem were able to make their dream a reality. In the beginning, the Internet was on the rise and SUSANIN'S was a pioneer and the first auction company to realize the potential in the early adoption of such technologies. Since 1993 we have grown to become an auction market leader in Chicago and throughout the world. In the year 2003, we relocated our place of business to a prime South Loop location at 900 South Clinton, a 40,000 square-foot building ideal for a large auction company. Recently, the area has seen a great deal of development, growth, and urban expansion. With foresight, SUSANIN'S is now centrally located in one of Chicago's most desirable neighborhoods.

In the past 20 years, many changes have occurred in the art and auction world. However, the one constant has been SUSANIN'S ability to innovate. As modern technology has grown, we have adapted along with it. SUSANIN'S was the first to offer fully-illustrated catalogues both in print and online to pioneer live real time online bidding, to use images on monitors to guide bidders through the auction process, and to offer buyers and sellers online account statements and information.

As the company continues to mature and advance, the team at SUSANIN'S looks forward to sustaining the tradition of producing the highest quality auctions. Innovation, technological development, and a superior customer experience will always be paramount in our business model.
