L. H. Selman Paperweights Landmark Auction at Susanin's

On Saturday, September 17, 2016, Susanin's will be hosting an auction presided over by the L. H. Selman Paperweight Gallery on behalf of the Art Institute of Chicago. Featuring 110 lots of 2 to 4 paperweights each, the auction is a premier event for those in the paperweights world.
The majority of the paperweights are from the classical French period ( c.1845-1860) and were all owned at one time or another by ardent collectors Arthur Rubloff, Potter and Mrs. Palmer, Ella Grace Brown Burdick and Lucy B. Kretchmer. They are all currently part of the Art Institute's permanent collection.
The auction will begin at noon, with doors at 10:00 am.
